ABOUT HOLDYN BARDER

Holdyn Barder is a true rising star. Raised on 90’s Country Radio in the back of his parents’ backseat in Texas, this Houston-born and Philly-raised artist’s love for Country Music was formed at a very young age. However, it wasn’t until Spring 2013 when he picked up a guitar for the first time; Holdyn discovered a mysterious blue guitar-shaped paperclip on the ground during a tennis match and took it as a sign to start strumming. After a few years of building his talent off of YouTube videos and learning to sing off his dock at the Jersey Shore, Holdyn Barder ditched a Physics degree and moved to Nashville, TN on August 7, 2019. Holdyn finished his undergraduate studies at Belmont University with a BBA Music Business and worked as a record label intern and a digital marketing agent post-graduation.

With eyes on becoming a stadium-performing act to the likes of Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, and Luke Bryan, Holdyn Barder first began building his hometown fan base and released Philadelphia/Jersey Shore-themed songs such as “Stone Harbor,” “Go Birds,” and “Ring That Bell.” These releases showcased Holdyn’s classic All-American brand; he loves loud country music, his (Philly) sports, and a warm, sunny day (or month) at the beach. Holdyn Barder’s efforts were recognized quickly when he earned the highly-coveted Barefoot Country Music Fest 2024 Hometown Star Award. Holdyn Barder has since been recognized by CMT, The Philadelphia Inquirer, FOX, NBC, ABC, and is a proud Wawa ambassador. Amassing over 250,000 social media followers, 2 million on-demand streams, and 10 million impressions and views, Holdyn Barder looks forward to prioritizing his relationship with his fans, performing on any stage he can find, and releasing fresh music in 2025.

Music is the one language we all can understand. Music is a powerful tool that can be used for good. I pray that my music brings joy to as many people as possible and that, just maybe, for three hours of a fan’s night, they’ll be reminded of how awesome life can be if we allow it.
